Howdy, I'm Tuzgai (at least online) and this is a mindless drivel blog of the sort that people write disgusted essays about. That's right, one of those meaningless, contentless journals where someone talks about his (or her, though I'm a he) life for no particular reason and occassionally posts an interesting link, or at least hopefully an interesting one. Well, now that that's over with, you know if you need to leave, or if you're one of those odd people who happens to take an interest anyway. I'm mostly writing for myself, regardless, but if you want to follow along, fine by me.
Well, about myself. I am a newly 18-year-old high school student in Las Vegas, currently enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. This makes my life a little stressful, but at least it's tons of - stress, actually. My favorite class is computer science, closely followed by Japanese. Yep, that definitely says a little bit about me, I play video games and watch anime too, before you ask. Indeed, the game I am currently playing most is World of Warcraft, where I have a level 31 Undead Mage on the Shadow Moon server.
I am also a Boy Scout, well an adult leader now, until I start my planned Venture crew, and have recently handed in my Eagle Scout application. I will be sitting my Board of Review in September, and will then hopefully become an Eagle Scout. Yup, I went to the somewhat ill-fated National Jamboree at Fort AP Hill, Virginia on staff and had tons of fun in spite of what happened to the unfortunate Scoutmasters from Alaska. Being on rappelling staff was especially fun, 'cos they let us go down Aussie-style and upside-down and such. I may even have pictures later, if I ever get them developed.
I am currently employed at Kmart, in the sporting goods department, but that won't last much longer, as I just told them I'm quitting due to excessive schoolwork, which is true, because I'll need the weekends to go to the UNLV library to research my extended essay, which I think will be about Dante's Divine Comedy.
The other point of interest may be that my family moves around a great deal, so I have friends in Saudi Arabia that I ditched that this blog may be directed to, if I ever get around to telling them about it.
Well, I think that's a great deal I've shared about myself to the three complete strangers that end up reading this, so I figure that's enough self-introduction.
Who knows? This blog may actually end up meaningful and insightful, but I think I'd settle for comprehensible and somewhat interesting. Time will tell, I guess.
