Yesterday was my last day of work at Kmart, it's making me kinda sad. I'm happy to have my weekends back, but I'm really gonna miss having money. Oh well, at least I got to try out my nifty (and secret) device there. :)
I hate it when I'm reading a book and make references to it that no one else gets, because they either haven't read it, or aren't reading along. I'm currently reading Stranger in a Stange Land and I called Moriah a Martian last night to relate what I thought of the differences in her way of thinking and most other people's, but it went straight over her head. She thought I was insulting her until I explained myself.
I suppose I'm ready for summer to end, in a purely physical sense. I'll be finished cleaning my room today, and my backpack's mostly packed. I've readjusted my sleep cycle for waking at four, now all I need to do is let it sink in mentally that tomorrow isn't going to be another day off.
I hope this year goes well, it's going to be really busy, what with my extended essay and my programming dossier, but at least I'll never be bored. And I'm not taking a lab science, so that'll be a bit less work.
I should be doing a bit more college research in this spare time, but I think I'll do an instance run in WoW instead. :D
