Dang, I think that's actually all of my admissions decisions. I suppose I should start weighing and measuring now. That actually turned out really well. I got accepted to all the ones I expected to, denied from the ones I was hopeful for but didn't think I'd get in to, and waitlisted for Carleton. At least I'm fairly certain the last one stems from the lateness of my second letter of recommendation.

What I'm really surprised about is University of Chicago, just because of my essay. U of C's "Uncommon Application" is actually basically the same as the Common Application, except for the essay portion, which is really sneaky. You get a choice from 6 or 7 prompts, but they're all amazingly hard. The one I chose was "(phrase in hiragana) is a Japanese phrase which means 'the mind that does not stick.' ~Zen Master Shiotsu"

The thing was, I couldn't think of a real essay for any of them, so I chose that one and just put "Mu." as my two page essay. It's actually a really clever answer in it's way, but I was sure they wouldn't take it, so I'm super happy. I gotta remember to tell Mr. Bean, because he thought I'd get rejected.

Also, I'm a semifinalist for the NSA Stokes Educational Scholarship! They're shipping me down to Maryland for an interview and everything. The NSA has been my dream for a couple years now, so I'm really excited.

Um...other things. Theatre's going well... Oh! A while back some of the IB seniors got to chaperone the IB sophmores on a field trip to UNLV, where they did a scavenger hunt. It was pretty great, as our only real job was to keep them from ditching and going to In 'n Out, si we basically got to hang out and be Ib seniors at UNLV for a day. I tried to play DDR but I nearly died. I wish this stupid cough would go away.
